Nothing could have happened or indeed will happen here without some very special people. So many times hospitality is missing from a restaurant. What should be the heart and soul is lacking and all you have is an empty shell.

We have gone through great pains to get the best possible team together to bring our passion to your plate!

Hany,a locally  grown  Lebanese is an accomplished chef , but more so a food artist who combines his creative skills with a pursuit for excellence . Hany leaves no stone unturned to provide the best . From the oil used for frying, the choice of the sweetest tomatoes to the last minute leaf of  Basilico. Always on hand, tending to client, swirling a Pizza or tossing a pan of pasta , nothing can go wrong !

Victor , primo Pizzaiolo , 20 years in the trade and yet more than happy to spend weeks in Italy learing even more about Pizza. His smiling, bashful appearance conceals a great performer , turning out Pizzas by the dozen, totally unperturbed by a full house, and not the slightest rise in blood pressure .Poor fellow he supports Juventus !

From the colourful Balzunetta district of Floriana , a direct descendant of Zeza tal – Flagship , Marcel is as Neapolitan in spirit as Malta can produce . Don’t be fooled by his rascally charm, he runs the floor with military efficiency benefiting from years of experience in 5 star hotels.

Roberta and Abigail smiling service at it’s most efficient . Despite their young age both our girls have experience in making every single customer feel comfortable . It’s their natural sense of hospitality, in the best tradition of the Mediterranean.

Solid, dependable, super proud in his work, Charlie our man behind the scenes who keeps the engine well oiled and running smoothly. Like a naval steward Charlie is there when you most need him. supporting all and sundry and all spit and polish in his cleaning. You could eat straight off his gleaming Stainless steel surfaces !

Quiet and bashful , Keith  il – Bambolin    never stops talking ! Unless that is when he’s tossing a pan of paccheri or simmering a sauce of San Marzano tomatoes . Young and full of enthusiasm, Keith is ITS qualified, big hotel weathered and now dead keen on living the world of la buona cucina !

Ray is courtesy personified , the gentleman clown . A jolly waiter with an operatic voice who was attracted to Vecchia Napoli more by the arias of Caruso then by the peperoncino. A conservative eater whose anglophile slant gives that edge of refinement to our otherwise  scugnizzu team .
